Piña Papaya Oatmeal
Are you a papaya fan? Here’s one for you. Do I even need to convince you? This oatmeal is loaded with fresh papaya chunks and paired with its tropical cousin, the beloved pineapple. What more is there to say??
Pineapple Kiwi Oatmeal with Coconut-Peanut Butter
I used to think nut butters didn’t work with tropical fruits. I’ve recently decided that you can make nut butters work with anything if you’re determined enough. The best part about adding a nut butter to a tropical oatmeal is that it brings some earthy, hearty warmth to an otherwise bold and tangy porridge.
Irish Tricolor Oatmeal Smoothie Bowl
As I said last week, Ireland has a special place in my heart. During my time in Ireland, I fell in love with the Irish flag, which is called the Irish Tricolor, according to Wikipedia. How original. ???

Chai-Spiced Pineapple Oatmeal
A couple weeks ago, I stated that I was done with the pineapple recipes for a while. Apparently, “a while” is only a couple weeks. ? Once I thought of this recipe, I couldn’t wait to make it.
Apricot Pineapple Overnight Oatmeal
Happy Friday! Here’s my final recipe for this random pineapple series. ? Pineapple is shockingly versatile, pleasantly sweet, and wonderfully flavorful, but I’m all pineappled out for a while.
Next obsession, please!
Once again, I used the Kite Hill yogurt (I made this at the same time as I made the Blueberry Pineapple Overnight Oatmeal, to be honest). Unlike the blueberry version, I added a pinch of cinnamon to this recipe, and it worked surprisingly well with the yogurt. I think almond milk yogurt (especially this brand) is a little less tangy than you would generally think of yogurt, so the cinnamon works with it and not against it.

Blueberry Pineapple Overnight Oatmeal
Apparently it’s pineapple week on the blog. This occurred for no reason besides me realizing I had numerous bags of frozen fruit being ignored in my freezer. I guess that means you should expect lots of berries and pineapple in your future. ??
Sadly, I also realized that I’m not a huge fan of yogurt in my oats. Perhaps it’s because I prefer to eat my porridge warm. However, I also find the flavor of yogurt in oatmeal to be less cozy and earthy and wonderful. That being said, I know it’s popular, so I will do my best to provide recipes like this occasionally.

Cherry Pineapple Oatmeal
I learned after making Carrot Pineapple Oatmeal that adding pineapple to anything is a game-changer. It’s a way to add great flavor and sweetness to something that wouldn’t be sweet or flavorful otherwise. ? Cherries on their own have great flavor, but not so much in oatmeal.
I’ve been trying to return to simpler porridges lately. Brownie Baked Oatmeal with Matcha Cashew Filling is great, and Yellow Cake Baked Oatmeal with Chocolate PB2 Frosting is grand, but there’s a reason why I just make Fudgy Banana & Peanut Butter Oatmeal every day instead of those elaborate concoctions.
(It’s probably the same reason I have avocado toast for lunch 5 times a week. ?)

Grilled Pineapple & Dark Chocolate Oatmeal
I have been wanting to grill more fruit ever since I made my Grilled Peach Steel-Cut Oatmeal a couple summers ago. Since I spent several days with my parents in Minnesota, I took full advantage of their grill and made this recipe.
One of my biggest flaws is impatience. These pineapples should have deeper, darker, more beautiful grill marks, but I was like “OH COOL THEY HAVE SOME LINES ON THEM SO THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY DONE.” Either way, the result was delicious. If you are more patient than I am, you can probably make this even better, if that’s possible.

Hummingbird Cake Batter Oatmeal
I knew I would love this recipe. Bananas + pineapple + cinnamon + pecans. I love all of those ingredients, and I keep them on hand consistently. So why didn’t I make it earlier?
I always envisioned it as a baked oatmeal recipe. As my regular readers already know, I much prefer stovetop oatmeal. That kept me from making this sooner. Finally, last weekend I decided to do things my way and enjoy this recipe in the form I would prefer. Therefore, I give you cake batter. Cake batter is trendy now anyway, isn’t it? 😉
Mango, Pineapple, and Kiwi Oatmeal
Think of this recipe as Tropical Oatmeal Part 2. I love, love, love mango, and it’s always a delight to pair it with other tropical fruits. For convenience, I always keep a bag of frozen pineapple and frozen mango in my freezer. I don’t like most frozen fruits, but those two hold up beautifully in the freezer. (Strawberries, not so much.)
This means that the only part of this recipe that I had to buy specifically for the recipe was the kiwi (or kiwifruit, if you’re Australian ^_^ ). Everything else was already stocked in my kitchen–yippee!
