Chocolate Banana Swirl Oatmeal
I am such a sucker for black and white together. It always looks so crisp and clean and modern! I wanted to try and replicate it in oatmeal.
Brownie Baked Oatmeal – Big Batch!
The benefit of an entire 8×8 pan of Brownie Baked Oatmeal is that it is a definite crowd-pleaser. Who wouldn’t want to eat oatmeal if it tasted like a brownie? If you find yourself needing to make breakfast for a group of friends or your family, this one is a safe bet.
Pear Orange Fudge Oatmeal
This recipe adds big flavor from the fudgy chocolate and bright orange, and the pears add a hint of sweetness and a refreshing coolness.
Cocoa Candy Cane PB2
Looking for an ultra easy way to Christmas-ify your favorite oatmeal recipe? This topping needsĀ half of a standard candy cane and can be whipped up in about two minutes!
Fudgy Rosemary and Fig Oatmeal
This oatmeal is a close relative of my Salted Rosemary Brownie Batter Oatmeal, but I swapped the dates for dried figs. While dates are great for giving a relatively neutral sweetness, figs add another layer of flavor (in addition to sweetening the porridge)! I love figs and rosemary together, and rosemary and chocolate together, so the three of them all at once is a dream come true. ?
Salted Tahini Fudge Oatmeal
I’ve been flying through jars of tahini. I think its best use is in salad, but I also love it on oatmeal from time to time.
Matcha Yogurt and Fudgy Overnight Oats Parfait
While I prefer unsweetened yogurt for my usual snacking (on the rare occasion that I do snack on yogurt), I went for vanilla-flavored yogurt for this recipe. Instead of mixing it up in the morning when the overnight oats layer was ready, I made it at the same time as the overnight oats, thus allowing the matcha flavor to “rest” with the yogurt. I don’t know the science behind it, but I think this improves the matcha flavor.
Cherry Coconut Fudge Oatmeal
I was desperately low on frozen cherries when I set off to make this recipe. This meant I had only one option: break out the jar of maraschino cherries.
Bonus: Both fresh and frozen cherries can have a rather shy flavor in oatmeal, so switching to this syrupy, high-flavor cherry actually helps your oatmealĀ taste like cherry!
Cherry Nana Oatmeal with Chocolate Nut Butter
I never expected cherries and bananas to complement each other so well, but they really do. The sweetness from the bananas brings out the flavor of the cherries, and that cherry infusion adds enough wow-factor that no cinnamon is necessary–and I rarely make a banana oatmeal with just fruit and vanilla extract!
